Module | Feature Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
Introduced validation of shipping carriers against item storage conditions by allowing storage condition assignment to carrier services and delivery modes, with configurable warning or blocking behaviour during order processing. | ||
Added the ability to automatically generate retest quality orders when specified conditions are met, for example 30 days before batch expiration. | ||
Added fields to display test specifications (Min, Standard, Max) and test results in scientific notation. For example, 1000000 is shown as 1E+006. | ||
Split work by LP quantity during shipment picking via mobile device | Added the ability to automatically or manually split work after scanning a license plate, helping streamline shipment picking when work is created for multiple license plates. | |
Added the ability to unpick part of a shipment quantity on a mobile device. The unpicked quantity can be assigned to a new license plate, labeled, and put away to another location. | ||
Cleaning by booth | Introduced more granular cleaning rules that can be defined by warehouse, individual dispensing booth, or groups of dispensing booths (cleaning resource groups). | |
Cancel dispensing operation in status Started, Pending, or Error | Added the ability to cancel dispensing operations stuck in Started, Pending, or Error status, for example after a computer crash or other processing issue, so operators can continue processing them. | |

Bug fixes
Bug fixes in Release 10.0.48.49 (June 2026) of STAEDEAN Life Sciences.
Module | Bug ID | Bug Name | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
46052 | Sub batch attributes warning appears even if the attributes are disabled | During quality order validation, the warning about missing sub-batch attribute values is now shown only when either Update inventory sub batch attribute or Update inventory sub batch attribute after review is enabled. | |
46806 | Cannot Reverse license plates for sub batch managed items if multiple sub batches have been registered | The system can now correctly reverse license plates for sub batch-managed manufactured products after the Finished goods put away work has been closed and material is moved to storage, without requiring the material to be moved back to the production output location. Moving the material back remains the recommended process. | |
47025 | Label printed with the wrong layout for the first sub-batch available in the production sub-batches form | The system previously used the wrong label layout for the first sub-batch in the Production sub-batches form when printing labels at batch order start. It now applies the correct layout. | |
47602 | Batch number and Sample type are mandatory in the Samples form | Batch number and Sample type are no longer mandatory when creating new samples. | |
47852 | Sales Order confirmation format issues | Corrected display issues in sales order confirmations for country and country of origin information. | |
47853 | Sales Order packing slip format issues | Corrected display issues in sales order packing slips for country information and packing slip date. | |
48949 | Sales Order confirmation - Origin data wrong | The Country of Origin and HS Origin information in sales order confirmation report now displays correctly. | |
48953 | Sales order packing slip - Origin data wrong | The Country of Origin and HS Origin information in sales order packing slip report now displays correctly. | |
45729 | When a test group is active the button is still called Activate | The activation button label now updates correctly based on test group status, showing Activation for inactive groups and Deactivation for active groups. | |
46112 | The Average decimals changes depending on the selected line | The Average column now displays results using the decimal precision defined in Result decimal precision. | |
46833 | Test methods are not correct when the same test is repeated multiple times in the test group | When the same test is repeated multiple times in a test group with different test methods, quality orders now inherit the correct test methods from the test group lines. | |
47046 | For "Option" type tests, the Min/Max (Result range) fields remain editable in the Test groups form | For 'Option' tests, the Min and Max fields in Test group lines are now read-only. | |
47154 | Relevant decimals do not work when set to zero | Rounded specifications can now be used in test group and quality order lines when Relevant decimals is set to 0. For example, if the Min value of the acceptable range is "10.800", the user can enable the rounded specifications with relevant decimal "0" and the Min will be rounded to "11". | |
47227 | It is not possible to validate a reopened quality order | Reopened quality orders can now be validated correctly, and the status is updated from Open to Pass or Fail based on the test results. | |
47245 | It is not possible to add the same item to multiple quality groups | The same item can now be added to multiple quality groups. | |
47246 | The Test result exists checkbox is not populated for calculated test results | The Test results exist checkbox now updates correctly for test results calculated by a mathematical formula. | |
47828 | It is not possible to validate a quality order forcing the status to "Fail" | Quality orders can now be validated with Force status set to Fail, and the order status is updated correctly. | |
48614 | The Results entered checkbox is incorrect when the test group has a single "Option" line | The Results entered checkbox in the quality order header now works correctly when the quality order contains tests of type 'Option'. | |
48652 | Quality order results error with Number of results blank and Include in result checkbox enabled | The Include test results checkbox in quality order test results now works correctly when the Number of results field in the related quality order line is blank. | |
45895 | Accepted under quantity in percentage field is considered during report as finished even if the Accept under sub batch quantity radio button is disabled | During RAF and put away, the accepted under-quantity percentage is now applied only when Accept under sub batch quantity is enabled. If this option is disabled, entering a lower total sub batch quantity now correctly triggers an error instead of a warning. | |
45901 | Not possible to proceed in movement by template when start by scanning a non LP location | Movement by template can now be processed on a mobile device when starting from a non-license plate tracked location that contains multiple batches of the same item. | |
46801 | Target license plate is updated during the second pick put step of the raw material picking work | Previously, the system used a different target license plate during the second pick-put step of raw material picking work. Although this did not affect the final result, because the material was still placed on the correct license plate, it caused the wrong license plate to be populated when Advanced LP inquiry was used during a mid-process detour. The system now uses the same license plate throughout the second pick-put step, making it easier to identify the material being processed. | |
46869 | Document routing for LP printing is not considering the warehouse field | Document routing for license plate Label Printing now correctly uses the Warehouse field to select the appropriate routing. | |
47053 | Add new item does not ask to scan batch number in cycle counting | When adding a new item during cycle counting on a mobile device, the system now prompts for the existing batch number instead of creating a new one when Direct sub batch scanning is enabled. | |
47435 | Batch disposition code check method in adjustment in is not displaying warning | Warning messages for material checks (for example, check on the batch disposition code) in adjustment-in processes are now displayed correctly, even when default data is defined in the mobile device menu item. | |
48753 | Intended use code with Special characters are wrongly displayed in the Warehouse Management App | The Intended use code field in the Warehouse Management App now correctly displays special characters, such as “&”, after a regression introduced with Microsoft version 10.0.48. | |
42271 | Dispensing order lines lock incorrectly removed leading to WorkOrderOperation entity locked in the Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing application | (W&D Application) Locks are now removed correctly when a dispensing operation is completed or canceled, allowing different operators to continue processing the same dispensing order. | |
47424 | Expiration date recalculation after dispensing operation completion happens after the material reservation | (W&D Application) The system now correctly displays an error message when the target sub batch generated as part of the dispensing process has an expiration date that is not appropriate for the current production process. For example, if the target sub batch expiration date is recalculated as the dispensing operation date plus 3 days, but the material will be needed in 20 days based on the configured controls, the system will return a blocking error, since the dispensed target sub batch cannot be automatically allocated to the batch order anymore. | |
45430 | Actual start or Actual end are requested twice if electronic signature is required in the work order lifecycle state configuration | When electronic signatures are required for work order lifecycle state updates, Actual start and Actual end are now requested only once before the signature is entered. | |
47840 | Invoice data and layout issues | Corrected display issues in invoices for country information, tax-exempt text, charges, and net total amount. |

Recommended actions
Recommended actions for Release 10.0.48.49 (June 2026) of STAEDEAN Life Sciences.
Follow these instructions if both the following functionalities are in use. You can verify this by checking the following settings:
Block editing from approval (prevents users from approving or validating records on behalf of other users): check whether the Block editing parameter is enabled in the legal entity.
Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance feature: check whether the Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance feature is enabled in Feature management.
“Block editing from approval” is not compatible with quality order validation when Microsoft’s “Advanced Quality Management” feature is enabled, because it allows the Validate by user value to be changed. To prevent this, enable the Microsoft parameter Prevent override of quality order validation worker (Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance > Setup > Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance parameters > Quality management tab).
The Microsoft “Electronic signature improvements” feature is enabled by default starting from version 10.0.48. We recommend keeping it enabled. However, when this feature is active, the STAEDEAN Quality order validation electronic signature requirement is no longer available and is replaced by the Microsoft Validate quality order To avoid conflicts, disable the STAEDEAN Quality order validation electronic signature requirement (Organization administration > Setup > Electronic signatures > Electronic signature requirements) before installing version 10.0.48.
To continue using the Allow next functionality, enable the Enable allow next parameter in Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance parameters (Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance > Setup > Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance parameters). If this parameter remains disabled (the default setting), Allow next will no longer be available. Microsoft has replaced this functionality with Event blocking in the Quality associations form, which we recommend using.
To prevent processes from being blocked by open quality orders, set the Event blocking field to None for all quality associations.
