What’s new
New features in Release 10.0.47.45 (April 2026) of STAEDEAN Life Sciences.
Module | Feature Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
Capability to automatically print manufactured product, co-product and by-product labels when the order is started, according to the configured document routing layout. | ||
Integration with Dynamic printer selection | STAEDEAN Life Sciences Label Printing now integrates with Microsoft's 'Dynamic printer selection' feature. Learn more here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/warehousing/dynamic-printing-selection | |
Modification of the layout and content of the standard (Pro-forma) Sales order confirmation report. | ||
Quality association based on customer | Capability to define customer- or customer group-specific quality associations of the type "Production" and "Route operation", enabling tailored Quality Control for make-to-order batches. | |
Integrate STAEDEAN Life Sciences with MS Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance module | Microsoft's new Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance feature, released in version 10.0.45, includes capabilities that overlap with those in the STAEDEAN Life Sciences. Consequently, when Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance is activated via Feature management, several SDN functions are now hidden: the “Customer specific setup” button on the Test group form, the "Quality order validation" electronic signature requirement, and the “Copy test group” button on the Test group form. Furthermore, Microsoft’s Copy test group functionality is now enhanced to also copy Life Sciences details, such as Reduced test group and Quality schedule. |
What’s changed
Changed features in Release 10.0.47.45 (April 2026) of STAEDEAN Life Sciences.

Module | Feature Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
The STAEDEAN Life Sciences certificate has been renewed. Please renew your STAEDEAN Life Sciences licenses. | ||
Label reprint logging has been improved to preserve the original printer and number of copies on the label record. Each reprint now logs its own printer and copy count in the Reprint log for full audit traceability. | ||
Enabled inheritance of container configuration from batch or production orders to relevant batch numbers, and added features for creating and assigning batch numbers to co-products and by-products based on batch order status. | ||
Modification of the layout and content of the standard (Pro-forma) Sales order packing slip report. | ||
Quality order creation based on specific project code | Project-specific quality associations can now be defined for stability studies and environmental monitoring using Reference type "Project". | |
The Certificate of Analysis (CoA) printing has been aligned with Microsoft standard updates, allowing users to choose between the standard Microsoft layout and the Life Sciences layout via a new parameter. Reprints of CoA/CoC generated through Electronic Reporting are now fully tracked in the job archive. | ||
Capability to define notice days for a sales order invoice. Modification of the layout and content of the following standard reports: (Pro-forma) Free Text Invoice, (Pro-forma) Free Text Credit Note, (Pro-forma) Sales Order Invoice and (Pro-forma) Sales Order Credit Note. |
Bug fixes
Bug fixes in Release 10.0.47.45 (April 2026) of STAEDEAN Life Sciences.
Module | Bug ID | Bug Name | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
41012 | No STAEDEAN Life Sciences - Warning in On-hand form | A warning was displayed in the On-hand form when STAEDEAN Life Sciences product was installed but not licensed. | |
43228 | Storage condition mismatch report missing title | The system now correctly prints the report title and legal entity information. | |
43229 | Storage attribute mismatch report missing title | The system now correctly prints the report title and legal entity information. | |
45362 | Error displays when printing the Picking list report in batch order | The production picking list report failed to print when "Dispense management" was enabled in Feature management. | |
45382 | "Operation number" and "Operation name" blank in the Inventory transactions for pegged supply orders | The system was not populating the Oper. No. and Operation name fields in the Inventory transactions for pegged supply orders formula lines. | |
45387 | Text is partially cut in the Sign document form for storage conditions approval for warehouses/locations | When electronically signing the approval of storage conditions for warehouses/locations, some fields where partially cut in the Sign document form. The fields are now fully visible. | |
45481 | Picking list journal creation job generates the picking list journal with incorrect quantities | Previously, the Picking list journal creation job populated incorrect quantities when the BOM unit in the batch order formula line differed from the item's inventory unit. Now, the system accurately converts quantities in the Consumption and Proposal fields of the journal lines based on the selected BOM unit. | |
45688 | Dates are not calculated in the Batch merge | The system now correctly calculates the dates of a merged batch when the Batch merge date calculation is "Manual": the user can manually enter the Manufacturing date, and other dates are calculated automatically based on the period in days defined for the item. | |
45864 | Batch order status wronlgy updated to Started when sub batch numbers are generated at released status and batch number is blank | The system now properly prevents the batch order from starting directly from the "Estimated" or "Scheduled" status if a batch number hasn't been assigned, and when sub-batches are configured to generate automatically upon batch order release. | |
45928 | Incorrect active batches sequence number when selecting more than one active batch during batch balancing | The system was incorrectly populating the Active batches form after the Batch balancing process was executed. Now, the system correctly populates the Active batches form in the order the batches of active ingredients are selected. | |
46767 | Reservation is not displayed properly in the Batch reservation form | There was a refresh and display issue in the Batch reservation form that prevented users from viewing and adjusting the reservation quantities. | |
46814 | Quantity in load line is not reduced after unpicking if the unit of measure in the sales order line is different from the inventory unit | The system was not reducing the load line quantity after unpicking when the unit of measure in the sales order line differed from the inventory unit. | |
47744 | Printer and Number of copies are not correctly populated in the reprinted label file | When reprinting labels, the system now correctly applies the Printer selected during the reprint action. Previously, the regenerated label file used the original values instead of the updated reprint settings. | |
45295 | Sub batch attributes wrongly assigned if 2 or more attributes in the same QO | Attributes from quality order results are now properly assigned to the applicable sub-batches when multiple tests relate to different attributes. | |
45638 | Reference number is missing from the QO entity in case of "Project" type | The "Project ID" field has been added to the "Quality orders" entity (InventQualityOrderHeaderEntity). It is now possible to import/export the reference to the project number in case of quality orders with reference type "Project". | |
45724 | The "Control test group on manual quality order creation" feature only works with "Table" quality associations | When the ‘Control test group for manual quality order creation’ parameter was enabled, test groups linked to "Inventory" quality associations were not available for selection if the association applied to an item group (e.g., Item code "Group"). Previously, only test groups linked to quality associations for single items could be selected in manual quality orders. Now, test groups associated with item groups are correctly selectable during manual quality order creation. | |
40848 | Incorrect help text for Display registration line form | The help text for the Display registration lines form was incorrect. | |
45372 | Output location defined in the resource is not used when using mobile device menu items "Advanced report as finished" and "Advanced report as finished and put" | Previously, the system used the default finished goods location as output location when reporting a batch order as finished via the Warehouse Management App, instead of the output location assigned to the resource for the last route operation. The issue applied to mobile device menu items using Advanced report as finished" or "Advanced report as finished and put" work creation processes. Now, the system correctly uses the output location tied to the scheduled resource for the final route operation. | |
45605 | User prompted to scan the sub batch number instead of Target license plate in Sales picking via mobile device | Previously, picking a sub batch on a mobile device from a non-LP location with Override target license plate enabled and Generate license plate disabled was blocked. The app now lets users set the target license plate as intended. | |
46750 | Automatic compensating and filler ingredient recalculation is not reserving material from the already reserved inventory dimension | If additional material of the compensating or filler ingredient is required during the Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing process (in the Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing Application), the system now correctly attempts to reserve the additional quantity from the already reserved batch(es). If there is no available quantity in the already reserved batch(es), the system reserves the additional material from another batch, following the reservation principle defined for the item. Known issue to be resolved in the next release: if the weighed item has a reservation hierarchy with sub-batch below location, the system should verify if there is available quantity in already reserved batches. Currently, it always reserves from the first batch with available quantity, following the reservation principle. |
