Life Sciences Supply Chain Management adds the new Item check groups form (Inventory management > Setup > Inventory > Item check groups or Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance > Setup > Inventory > Item check groups) to create item check groups grouping check methods.
Once created, it is possible to assign the item check group to released products, and the assigned check methods are automatically inherited in the relevant fields in the Released products form.
The following fields are available in the item check group:
Override approved vendor check method
Approved vendor check method, enabled only if Override approved vendor check method checkbox is enabled
Use code, default use code assigned to batch/sub-batch
Approved customer check list method
Batch disposition status check method
The following values can be assigned to the check methods:
No check - The control is disabled.
Warning only - The control returns a warning to users during the execution of the controlled steps but does not prevent the user from proceeding with the action.
Not allowed - The control returns an error to users during the execution of the controlled steps and prevents the user from proceeding with the action.
