To manage your Genesis integration processes, configure the records that define the company's Genesis integration activities.
First, define the general setup, such as the directories where various files and the ESHAPort application are stored, and the format in which data is transferred from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Perform this general setup once during the initial implementation.
You must also identify the production BOMs to export from D365 BC to Genesis.
If desired, you can enter nutrient values for item records in D365 BC. You can include this information when transferring the corresponding items to Genesis. You do not have to record nutritional information in D365 BC, as it may be preferable to enter and maintain this data directly in Genesis.
