Set up Genesis integration

To integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with a Genesis R&D database, specify parameters for how the ESHAPort files used to transfer data interact with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Do this before Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central can export data from the program.

Note

Both the ESHAPort files and the ESHAPort application must be stored in network locations accessible by Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Steps

1. In the search box, enter Genesis Integration, and then choose the related link.

2. In the Data File Directory field, enter the directory where the data files exported from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are stored.

3. In the EPF Directory field, enter the directory where the ESHAPort files used to export data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are stored.

4. In the ESHAPort Application Path field, enter the directory where the ESHAPort application is installed.

5. Fill in the fields on the other FastTabs if Anywhere Mobility Solutions data file format or name properties have been changed from the default settings.
