  • In D365 F&SCM, the related work order line is set to 'Completed'.
  • The signature is stored as an image in SharePoint.
  • In D365 F&SCM, an attachment is added to the related work order line. This attachment is of type URL and its URL refers to the signature image as stored in SharePoint.

Note: If you are working offline, the actions for which an online connection is required are only done until you are back online.

Note: On a Windows device or browser, on the taskbar, click Complete Booking.

2. Ask your contact to review the work order task details.
3. In the Signature box, ask your contact to sign off the work order task.

Notes

You can only complete a work order task if all of the following conditions are met:

  • All started time registrations are ended.
  • Consumption is registered for all necessary items.
  • A task result is registered for each checklist task.
  • In case of an assembly work order task, all asset components must be assembled.

A work order task can be assigned to a resource group or several field service engineers. If you complete such a work order task and:

  • Not for each checklist task or necessary item an action is registered, the work order task is completed only for you. The work order task as such is not completed. Other field service engineers can still work on it.
  • For each checklist task or necessary item an action is registered, the work order task is completed for all assigned field service engineers.

Advice: In case of multi-resource or resource group assignments of work order tasks, give your field service engineers clear instructions. For example, on who can close a work order task or on required communication on closing work order tasks.
