Create and post the item journal to add items that increase the value of the fixed asset or inventory item.

Because site is mandatory in the product dimension, set up default order settings in advance to auto-populate the price, site, and warehouse.

Standard procedure

1.	Go to Work order project planning > Work orders > All work orders.
2.	In the list, find and select the desired record.
3.	Click Journals.
	Note: on the work order lines tab
4.	Click Item.
5.	In the list, mark the selected row.
6.	Click Lines.
7.	In the list, mark the selected row.
8.	In the Item number field, enter or select a value.
	Note: The product should have default order settings which will auto-populate the site and warehouse. If there are no default order settings then the site and warehouse must be filled in manually on the product dimension tab
9.	Click Save.
10.	Close the page.
