When you have selected the desired picking route, you can start the picking process.

Scan item Scan item Scan the barcode of the desired item to pick it.    In D365 FO, in the Anywhere app parameters, on the Rental tab, in the picking section, you can set the Change serial number on picking” parameter. If set to Yes, a warehouse worker can:  Assign a serial number to an object if it does not have a serial number.    Change a serial number. If the item with the specified serial number cannot be picked, the warehouse worker can replace it with an item with a different serial number.   Serialized items    When you have scanned a serialized item, you can:    Report if it is damaged.    Add a description.    Take a picture of the item.    This creates a note for an item.  The picking quantity for serialized items is always ‘1’.     Bulk items    When you have scanned a bulk item, you can:    Take a picture of the item.     Add a note.    You must enter the number of items you want to pick from the available quantity.     Notes The attributes, as defined in the Rental Logistics Scanning app parameters, are shown. As a user, you can work on several picking routes simultaneously. Select line Select line If the (bulk) item to be picked has no barcode, you can select it. To do so, select the applicable rental order line and click “Select line”. If you have selected a related order line to pick, the page shows all related order lines for the rental order.  Notes A return date is automatically assigned to each return. You can manually assign another date.  As a user, you can work on several picking routes simultaneously. View line information View line information You can view the full line information and scan the selected item if its barcode is available.  To view the line information, click "F2"Select line."  Notes To pick an item without a barcode, click "F2: None".  Barcode damaged  or missing? Pick item Pick item You can pick an item if it is technically available. When picked, the page where unpicked order lines are shown, is updated. You can always pick a bulk item partially.  If the item has a main fuel tank, its fuel type and quantity are shown. If you scanned or entered a main kit item, its supplementary items are shown separately. You can pick each kit and supplementary item separately. You can view meters below the picking information when the item includes meters. To register a meter value: Select the meter line. Select the Meter button . Enter the meter value. Click "F4:Ok". Notes You can allow cross-company for a business object. When cross-company is allowed, the business object physical owner can differ from the rental order physical owner. Picking then changes the business object physical owner to the rental order physical owner. If you unpick the business object, the activity reverses the physical ownership. Item damaged? Scanning and validating of the pick location can be required. If so, a screen is shown where you can scan or enter the pick location. You can only continue if the scanned location is the same as the picking route pick location.

Pick item

You can pick an item if it is technically available. When picked, the page where unpicked order lines are shown, is updated. You can always pick a bulk item partially. 

If the item has a main fuel tank, its fuel type and quantity are shown.

If you scanned or entered a main kit item, its supplementary items are shown separately. You can pick each kit and supplementary item separately.

You can view meters below the picking information when the item includes meters. To register a meter value:

  1. Select the meter line.

  2. Select the Meter button .

  3. Enter the meter value.

  4. Click "F4:Ok".
