Pharmaceutical companies require a precise organization of the warehouse processes and movements. To support warehouse operations planning, Life Sciences Supply Chain Management allows users to trace the Due date for each type of work.
The Due date field in the Work form (Warehouse management > Works > All works) is editable, and no validations are applied to the inserted date.
For certain types of works, the Due date field is automatically populated by the system, and it can be manually edited. In particular:
If a picking work is generated from a Sales order, its Due date is automatically set to the earliest Requested ship date in the sales order lines.
If a picking work is generated from a Transfer order, its Due date is automatically set to the earliest Ship date in the transfer order lines.
