Life Sciences Supply Chain Management allows users to define License plate types, assign them to items and license plates, and manage individual license plate cleaning activities.
It is possible to define whether cleaning is required for each license plate type or not (for example, cleaning can be required for GMP-compliant plastic containers while not required for wooden pallets).
License plate types can be created in the License plate types form (Warehouse management > Setup > Warehouse > License plate types), and cleaning can be set as required by clicking the Enable cleaning button. If cleaning is required, it is possible to define the following information:
Count days: number of days before a new cleaning operation is triggered.
Count movement: number of movements before a new cleaning operation is triggered.
The cleaning actions can be performed by authorized users via Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management client by clicking the Change status button in the License plates form (Warehouse management > Setup > Warehouse > License plates) or via mobile device.
The cleaning actions are logged in the audit trail, and it is possible to inquire about the cleaning history at the license plate level by viewing the Cleaning history button in the License plate form.
