Tests can be set up in Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance > Setup > Quality control > Tests. When a new test is created, the following information can be entered:

Test Description
Test Type: in addition to tests of type Fraction, Integer, and Option, Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance provides an additional Criterion test type for tests with acceptance criteria based on mathematical functions.
Test instrument (optional)
Unit (mandatory for tests of type Fraction, Integer, and Criterion)
Analysis type (mandatory)
Method name (optional)
You can define translations for the test Description.
