The Advanced location inquiry can be accessed by creating a mobile device menu item (Warehouse management > Setup > Mobile device > Mobile device menu items) with the Activity code set to Advanced location inquiry.
When accessing the advanced location inquiry on the mobile device, users can scan/manually enter the Location in the Location inquiry screen.
List layout
If the Use advanced inquiry layout parameter is set to No, the following information related to the selected location is displayed in the Advanced location inquiry:
Location
Active storage condition
On-hand information by license plate, item, batch, and sub-batch (if applicable):
License plate
Item number
Product name
Batch number
Sub batch
Physical inventory
The amount of information displayed on the screen can be updated by defining the Records per page information in the Mobile device menu items form.
The Advanced item inquiry for a displayed item can be opened by clicking the correspondent Item button.
The Advanced batch inquiry for a displayed batch can be opened by clicking the correspondent Batch button.
The Advanced sub-batch inquiry for a displayed sub-batch can be opened by clicking the correspondent Sub batch button.

If the Use advanced inquiry layout parameter is set to Yes, an initial screen is displayed with the following location information:

When users confirm the information, the on-hand information is displayed in a grid layout. Each box contains the following fields:
Key identifier: combination of Batch number and License plate for batch managed items, Sub batch number for sub-batch managed items
Item number: Item number that has on-hand in the location
Info: Product name of the item
Batch number: Batch number that has on-hand in the location
Sub batch: Sub batch number that has on-hand in the location (if applicable)
Inventory status: Inventory status of the batch
Physical: Physical inventory available for the batch/sub-batch in the location
Users can view the same information as a list by clicking on one of the boxes and accessing the Inventory details screen. It is possible to link this screen with other inquiries by leveraging standard detour functionality (for example, to access the related item, batch, or sub-batch inquiry with a single click).
