You can instruct the program to automatically create picking activities for orders once they are assigned to delivery trips. These picks are called delivery trip picks and should not be confused with warehouse documents such as inventory picks or directed picks. You can view delivery trip picks on the Picks FastTab of the Delivery Trip Management page.
Delivery trip pick requirements are defined for a location. This gives you the ability to set up different types of delivery trip picking requirements on a location-by-location basis.
You can enter delivery trip pick results either manually or through an automated data capture device. The basic process for completing picks remains the same, although certain steps (such as assigning pickers to outstanding picks) can differ depending on the method.
The following table describes a sequence of activities, with links to the topics that describe them. These activities are listed in the order in which they are generally performed.
