When a location is set up to require picking, you must generate picks for orders assigned to delivery trips. Complete these picks before posting a delivery trip.
Steps
In the search box, enter Delivery Trips, and then choose the related link.
Select the delivery trip for which you want to complete picking activities.
If no pick has been created yet, select Warehouse Shipment in the ribbon and run the create pick functionality from there.
Note that when you use pick classes, the system can create several picks when different items with different pick classes are involved. Also note that a Create Pick per Source Document option is available when creating a pick for a delivery trip. This triggers the creation of a pick per source document, with the exception of items with the same pick class, which are collected in one pick.
Select Pick Lines in the ribbon and select the pick you want to complete.
Execute and complete the pick in the normal way.
Note
Completing a delivery trip pick is an irreversible process. Once a pick's status is set to completed, it cannot be changed and you cannot enter additional information on the pick.
