Use the mobile app to start, perform, and finish scheduled service and maintenance tasks. This flow outlines the required activities to process these tasks.

You can complete all activities or skip those not relevant to the task, depending on your situation.

List: Browse tasks by scheduled start date. Search: Enter part of the task name to find it. Note: Only tasks with status Planned or In progress are shown. Procedure 1. On the DynaRent Mobile app home page, tap 'My schedule'. 2. On the 'My schedule' page, by default, the Calendar is used with the current date selected. To find tasks for another date, select the desired date. Note: You can also select several dates. 3. To view the list of all assigned tasks, clear the 'Use calendar' check box. 4. To search for a task, in the 'Search tasks' field, type (a part of) the task name. 5. In the list of shown tasks, expand the desired task, and tap '>'. Notes The tasks are sorted based on the scheduled start date. By default, the tasks are sorted from oldest to newest. To sort the tasks from newest to oldest, in the action bar, tap . Use time ticker to start task Use time ticker to start task Use the job time ticker to record the time you work on a task. Start this ticker when you arrive at the task location and begin working. If the task status is Planned, starting the ticker changes it to In progress. The related work order line status in D365 F&SCM also changes to In progress. When you stop the job time ticker: A work time entry appears in the time overview. A transaction with registration type Hour and description 'Work time' is created in the Work order line transactions in D365 F&SCM. Note: If you work offline, the transaction is created after synchronization. Procedure 1. On the Task details page, tap 'Time ticker'. 2. When you start working on the task, tap 'Start job'. 3. When you are finished working on the task, tap 'End job'. Notes You can also use the travel time ticker to start a task. If you use the travel time ticker to start a task, make sure to end it when you arrive at the task location. You cannot start the job time ticker before you end the travel time ticker. When you are recording the working time with the job time ticker, you can also record break time with the break time ticker. When you are recording break time, you cannot end the job time ticker. You can also start a task by changing its status to 'In progress'. Do task based on order note Do task based on order note Enter an order note on the work order line to instruct the field engineer. To add an order note in D365 F&SCM, go to the Work order page, select a work order line, and click Additional notes > Line notes. The note provides relevant task information and is visible in the Task notes section. Procedure 1. On the Task details page, tap 'Task notes'. Note: At the right/top of the ´Task notes´ icon, an indicator shows the number of existing task notes. 2. On the Task notes page, read the order notes. 3. On the action bar, tap ' Do task based on task check list Do task based on task check list Use the task checklist on the work order line to instruct field engineers on required work. The checklist is often generated automatically from the work order template. It appears in the DynaRent Mobile App on the Task checklist page. When confirmed, each task’s status and notes are synchronized with the related checklist in D365 F&SCM. Note: If you work offline, synchronize with D365 F&SCM to update the task checklist. Procedure 1. On the Task details page, tap ´Task checklist´. Note: At the right/top of the ´Task checklist´ icon, an indicator shows the number of tasks done and the total number of tasks in the task checklist. 2. If you have done a task successfully, select the ´Task passed´ check box: 3. If you could not do a task or the task failed, select the 'Tasked failed' check box: 4. To do so, tap 'Summary'. 4. On the Sign-off summary page, expand the 'Task checklist' section to show which checks are completed and which checks are note done or failed. Note: If changes are required to the task checklist, tap the 'Task checklist' icon in the Task checklist section. 5. On the Sign-off summary page, expand the 'Spare parts' section to show the spare parts that are used for the task. Note: If changes are required to the spare parts, tap the 'Spare parts' icon in the Spare parts section. 6. On the Sign-off summary page, expand the 'Time overview' section to show the time you have spent on the task. Note: If changes are required to the time overview, tap the 'Time overview' icon in the Time overview section. 7. On the Sign-off summary page, expand the 'Other costs' section to show the costs that you have made to do the task. Note: If changes are required to the other costs, tap the 'Other costs' icon in the Other costs section. 8. Navigate back to the Sign-off page. To do so, on the action bar, tap ' 9.
