Set up the parameters that define the business object creation. In the Business object parameters, you set up:

  • The business object number sequence. This is used to define the business object identification on creation of a business object. 
  • The graphical business object overview. This allows you to see the business object availability in two ways.
  • The general parameters. You can define basic filters and counting journals.

Go to Business objects > Setup > Business objects parameters. 2. Click the Graphical business object overview tab. 3. Select Yes in the Rental business objects field. 4. Select No in the Sub rental business objects field. 5. Select No in the External business objects field. 6. Select Yes in the Serialized business objects field. 7. Select Yes in the Bulk business objects field. 8. In the Warehouse field, enter or select a value. 9. Click Save. 10. Close the page. Set general parameters Set general parameters You can specify a filter on several fields that are shown on the form.You can enter the information of the conditional priorities that define how you can use business objects. Procedure 1. Go to Business objects > Setup > Business objects parameters. 2. In the Dynamic field group field, enter or select a value. 3. Select Yes in the Rental type field. 4. Select No in the Item number field. 5. Select No in the Object group field. 6. Select Yes in the Object sub group field. 7. Select No in the Current depot only field. 8. Select Yes in the Filter on attributes field. 9. Select Yes in the Available only field. 10. Select No in the Current company only field. 11. Select No in the Current objects only field. 12. In the Counting Asset to Inventory journal field, enter or select a value. 13. Click Save.
