Set number sequences
Task

Define the number sequence for business objects. Number sequences are used to generate readable, unique identifiers for master data records and transaction records that require identifiers.

 


Standard procedure

1. Go to Business objects > Setup > Business objects parameters.
2. Click the Number sequences tab.
3. In the Number sequence code field, enter or select a value.
4. Click Save.
5. Close the page.
