Use resource groups to plan tasks on graphical plan boards. Enable this option by updating the plan board settings to plan by resource group.

Capability validation is not supported when using resource group planning.

Set a default region calendar and return warehouse on the resource group. These apply to all resources in the group if not individually configured.

Use the Calendars fast tab to define working times and optional effective and expiration dates.

Standard procedure

1.	Go to Work order project planning > Resources > Resource groups.
2.	Click New.
3.	In the Resource field, type a value.
4.	In the Name field, type a value.
5.	In the Region calendar field, enter or select a value.
6.	In the Default return warehouse field, enter or select a value.
7.	Click Save.
