The consumption-based maintenance plan checks if a work order must be created based on the registered meter value. The plan uses recurrence, meter unit, and reset method settings.
You can find the meter list on both the business object record and the work order.
To register a new meter value, enter the transaction date/time and the new meter value. When the value exceeds the predefined recurrence, a new work order is automatically created.
You can also register meter readings using the Field Service app.
| 1. | Go to Business objects > Business objects > All business objects. |
| 2. | In the list, find and select the desired object. |
| 3. | In the list, click the link in the selected row. |
| 4. | On the Action Pane, click Maintenance. |
| 5. | Click Meters. |
| 6. | In the meter list, mark the selected row. |
| 7. | Click Register under Transactions panel. |
| 8. | In the Date/Time field, enter a date and time. |
| 9. | In the Transaction text field, type a value. |
| 10. | In the New value field, enter a number. |
| 11. | In the Work order number field, enter or select a value, only if you wish to add the meter reading to an existing work order. |
| 12. | In the Line field, enter or select a value, if a work order is selected. |
| 13. | Click OK. |
