When you create a fixed-price project, the system automatically generates a fixed-price revenue estimate project.

For a fixed-price project, this setup is required:

• A fixed-price billing method
• An associated project
• At least one milestone defined on the Invoice schedule tab of the Project contract line page

Standard procedure

1.	Go to Project management and accounting > Projects > All projects.
2.	Click New.
3.	In the Project type field, select an option.
4.	In the Project name field, type a value.
5.	In the Project group field, enter or select a value.
6.	In the Project contract ID field, enter or select a value.
7.	Click Create project.
8.	Click Save.
