View translations on a staging journal line

The Translations tab on the Staging journal line details screen lets a Master Data Manager review the localized part name and description that the integration imports for a part before posting. Complete the following steps to review the translations for an imported part.

Steps

  1. Go to Engineering change management > PLM integration > PLM staging journals.

  2. Select the staging journal that contains the imported part.

  3. Click Lines. The PLM Journal Lines page opens with item-level data.

  4. Open the relevant journal line to display the line details section.

  5. Select the Translations tab.

  6. Review the grid, which lists the Language code, Translated part name, and Translated part description for each language.

  7. Confirm that the names and descriptions map correctly to the imported PLM data.

Note

If the import file contains no translation data for the part, the Translations tab remains empty.
