View translations in an engineering change order

The Translations tab on the ECO details screen lets an Engineering Change Manager review multilingual product data during change impact assessments and engineering approvals. Complete the following steps to review the translations for an engineering change order.

Steps

  1. Go to Engineering change management > Common > Engineering change orders.
    The Engineering change orders list page opens.

  2. Locate the required engineering change order in the list.

  3. Select the engineering change order number.
    The details page for the selected engineering change order opens.

  4. Select the Translations tab.

  5. Review the language code, translated part name, and translated part description for each affected part.

Note

The Translations tab remains visible even when no staging journal is linked to the ECO, so you always have a consistent view of multilingual product information.
