Validate a Staging Journal

Use this task to validate PLM data in a staging journal. Validation checks key fields such as Scenario, Interface status, Item ID, and Version ID for processing accuracy.

Steps

1. Go to Modules > Engineering change management > Periodic > PLM Integration > Staging journal.

2. Select the journal to validate.

3. Review the following fields before validation:

   • Item ID

   • Version ID

   • Scenario

   • Interface status

   • Journal status (must be Open)

4. Select Validate journal.
   

5. Review validation messages.

6. Correct errors if needed and repeat validation.
