Post the Staging journals

This workflow execution outlines the step-by-step posting sequence for Post Staging Journals from Post staging journals.

Steps

1. Go to Module > Engineering change management > Periodic tasks > Post staging journals.
   

2. In the Staging Journal Posting Engine dialog, click Filter and select criteria (Scenario = Import parts, Import ECO, Import migration and Import release, Status = Open).

3. Validate the staging journal details.

4. Adjust Number of threads if parallel processing is needed.

5. Enable Batch processing to schedule background posting (optional).

6. Click OK to execute the posting process.

7. System validates data and posts journal entries into D365 product master tables.

8. The Journal status updates to Posted upon successful completion.
