Create products in engineering company (without BOMs)

Create engineering products and versions without BOM or routing structures.

Note

• Disable readiness policies in the engineering product category before posting.

• Do not include BOM lines or routes during this step.

Steps

1. Import product data into a staging journal with the Import migration scenario.

2. Include product attributes and documents.

3. Exclude BOM lines and routes.

4. Run Post migration staging journals. Once the posting is successful, the system creates products and engineering versions in the engineering company.
