Release products to logistical companies (without BOMs)

Release engineering products to logistical companies without processing BOM structures.

Note

• Verify that engineering versions are set to Active before release.

• Disable Run BOM check in both engineering and logistical companies.

• Set Max levels to ‘0’ to prevent BOM explosion.

• Do not post multiple release journals to the same target company in parallel.

Steps

1. Import product data into a staging journal with the Import release scenario.

2. Verify that the engineering versions are set to Active.

3. Specify the Target company on the staging journal.

4. Run Post release staging journals. Once the posting is successful, the system releases products to the specified logistical companies without BOM structures.
