Once the PLM Integration project definition is imported into Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Supply Chain Management, additional configuration must be completed within D365 F&SCM to define how the PLM system interacts with engineering data. These settings control data validation, synchronization rules, document handling, and attribute mappings used during integration.

Steps
Go to Modules > Engineering Change Management > Setup > PLM Integration > PLM Systems.
Select or create a record for the PLM system you want to configure.
Configure the required parameters across the different sections Details Parameters, Attributes, Attribute Mapping, State Mapping, and Engineering Product Category Mapping.
