Upon registration of material using a mobile device, Life Sciences Warehouse Management allows users to review and adjust the information before the material is added to inventory. A preview of the lines to be registered and the corresponding information is available on the Registration lines screen, which is displayed before the actual registration process is completed.
The screen is available for the purchase receipt and the production report as finished processes; it can be activated by setting the Display registration lines form parameter to Yes in the Mobile device menu items form (Warehouse management > Setup > Mobile device > Mobile device menu items). The parameter is available for menu items with one of the following work creation processes:
Purchase order item receiving
Purchase order line receiving
Purchase order item receiving and put away
Purchase order line receiving and put away
Advanced report as finished

Load item receiving

Depending on the active tracking dimensions of the item, different information is displayed:
If the item is batch managed (that is, only the Batch number dimension is enabled), the following data is displayed in the Registration lines screen:
Inventory dimensions (Location, License plate, Inventory status, Batch number).
Quantity (Qty) and corresponding Unit of measure.
If the item is sub-batch managed (that is, both the Batch number and Sub batch dimensions are enabled), the following data is displayed on the Registration lines screen:
Inventory dimensions (Location, License plate, Inventory status, Batch number, Sub batch).
Quantity (Qty) and corresponding Unit of measure.
Before registering the material in inventory, users can adjust the quantity for each batch/sub-batch and select a different Sub batch type (only if the Edit sub batch type parameter is enabled), wherever applicable, by clicking on the batch/sub-batch ID. For sub-batch managed items, the total quantity of the Registration lines screen has to match the received quantity specified during the process, otherwise the system returns an error.
Once the user opens a sub-batch to edit information, it is possible to move from one sub-batch to the next/previous one by clicking the Next and Previous buttons.
Note
It is recommended to enable the Use advanced registration layout parameter for the mobile device menu item to display the information in card view. This parameter is enabled by default.
