In the Picking list journal, users can define the actual consumed quantity. For different reasons, the actual consumed quantity can be higher than the estimated one. Life Sciences Supply Chain Management gives the possibility to declare the over-consumption for each picking list journal lines by enabling the Over-consumed check-box.
Moreover, for the picking list journal lines with the Over-consumed checkbox enabled, users are able to define a reason code in the Reason code field.
The reason codes list can be defined in the Production reason codes form (Production control > Setup > Production reason codes). The user can define a Reason code with a description and the Journal type for which the reason code will be used.
