Decimal precision

Prev Next

Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance allows users to specify the test group member’s and results’ decimal precision, regardless of the unit and relevant decimal precision associated with the test at the test level.

Example

Test “Dissolution” has the unit set to “mg”. Unit “mg” has decimal precision “2”.

In the test group, it is possible to change the decimal precision for the “Dissolution” test in the Decimal precision and the Result decimal precision fields. For instance, it can be set to “3” in the Decimal precision field and “4” in the Result decimal precision field, so that the acceptance criteria will be saved with three decimals and the results will be saved with four decimals.
