Create work order tasks of type Transport

Create a task with a transport type to manage logistics activities on the transport plan board.

Transport task types include:

• Delivery: Deliver items to the customer or vendor address.

• Internal delivery: Pick up items from a depot.

• Load: Pick up items from the customer or vendor location.

• Internal load: Deliver items to a depot.

Tasks with type Service appear only on the service plan board.

Steps

1. Go to Work order project planning > Setup > Tasks.

2. Click New.

3. In the Task ID field, type a value.

4. In the Description field, type a value.

5. In the Task type field, select an option.

   Note

   Choose one of Transport Plan Board related task types: Delivery, Internal delivery, Load, or Internal load.

6. In the Status group field, enter or select a value.

7. Click Save.
