Create work order task of type Service

Create a task with the type Service to manage maintenance, repair, or inspection activities.

These tasks appear only on the service plan board. Transport-type tasks appear on the transport plan board.

You can also use service task types for transport planning when required.

Steps

1. Go to Work order project planning > Setup > Tasks.

2. Click New.

3. In the Task ID field, type a value.

4. In the Description field, type a value.

5. In the Task type field, select 'Service'.

6. In the Status group field, enter or select a value.

7. Click Save.
