The transportation tender responses that you receive with the 'Transportation tender response to EDI Transportation tender journal' (990) message are stored in the EDI Transportation tender journal.
The transportation tender responses are validated according to the applicable journal validation setup. If the applicable validation rules are not met, an error or warning is given. Before an EDI transportation tender response can be processed further, review the errors and warnings, and take appropriate actions.
If journal validation errors are given, you have these options:
Solve the errors in the EDI transportation tender response.
Change the setup or message configuration in D365 F&SCM.
Cancel the EDI transportation tender response with errors.
If journal validation warnings are given, you have these options:
Accept the EDI transportation tender response with warnings.
Solve the warnings in the EDI transportation tender response.
Change the setup or message configuration in D365 F&SCM.
Cancel the EDI transportation tender response with warnings.
You cannot accept an EDI transportation tender response with errors. If you do so, and approve the response, it's again set to Rejected.
If the errors are solved, warnings are solved or accepted, or the response is canceled, approve the EDI transportation tender response.
Steps
Go to EDI > Common > EDI Transportation tender journal.
In the list, find the desired EDI transportation tender response with journal status Rejected and click the link.
Click Edit.
On the Action pane, click Validation errors and review the errors or warnings.
Close the page.
To solve an error or warning, make the appropriate changes in the General or Detail section.
Note
If an error or warning is caused by setup, you can solve it in D365 F&SCM.
If a warning is given, but no action is required, you can accept the EDI transportation tender response.
On the Action pane, click Accept.
If an error or warning cannot be solved or accepted, you can cancel the EDI transportation tender response. As a result, the response is not considered anymore in validation and processing.
On the Action pane, click Cancel.
To check whether the validation rules are now met, on the Action Pane, click Validate.
Close the page.
