To monitor data entry workflow template change sets, you can open the Workflow template version management page that shows:
All data entry workflow templates.
For each workflow template, the latest change set, and the change set in the current environment.
For each selected data entry workflow template, the change set history log.
Steps
Go to Data entry workflow > Inquiries > Version management > Workflow template version management.
In the list, find and select the desired workflow template.
In the Description pane, below the template list, the workflow template change set log is shown. For each checked-in change set, the Description pane shows the:
Change set number.
Check-in date of the change set.
User who checked in the change set.
Environment from which the change set is checked in.
The description that is entered during check-in. This can be, for example, a list of the changes made to the change set.
Note
In the list, you can recognize the workflow template version management record by these fields:
Original template: The ID assigned when you first add the template to version management. It is the ID of the original workflow template.
Current template: The ID assigned to the workflow template in the current environment. Each environment can use its own number sequence, so this ID can differ from the original.
Behind the scenes, a GUID, not the template ID, is used to identify the version management record. This keeps the link intact even when the workflow template has a different ID in each environment.
You can use the Rename option on the Data entry workflow templates page to give a workflow template the same ID in every environment. To achieve this, you must rename the template separately in each applicable environment. See also: Create workflow template.
