The Item Reclassification Journal is a manual entry directly into an item journal line. The Warehouse Movement goes through separate pages but also results in an item journal line to post.
The Item Reclass. Journal consists of a single line from which all fields and functionality are derived.
The Posting Date defaults to the system date, but you can change it.
The Location Code defaults to the user's default location code. If only one location is available for the user, the system does not ask for the location.
To move a container, enter or select a container license plate number and choose the Move Container action.
If an item has an alternate quantity but is not set as catch weight, the system fills the alternate quantity automatically.
