Use assets in the program to track your maintenance activities. After setting up assets, you can create work orders for them.
Steps
In the search box, enter Assets, and then choose the related link.
On the Home tab, in the New group, choose New.
In the No. field, enter a number for the asset.
Alternatively, if you have set up number series for assets in the Maintenance Setup page, press Enter and the program enters the next available number.
In the Description field, enter a description for the asset.
Fill in the other fields on the asset card.
