SAS key setup lets you connect to Azure to perform specific actions, such as reading, writing, and transferring data to and from an Azure server.
Before using this feature, an Azure File Storage account must be available. For a brief guide, see Azure Storage account setup.

Note
Pasting the full URL + SAS key in the Base URL field fills in all other fields automatically.
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Storage account | The storage account identifier. Applies to the Azure storage account to authenticate with, the storage key (the entire query string part of the SAS key), and the share scope (the file share with possible subfolders that the key limits to). This field auto-populates when pasting a full SaaS URL in the Base URL field. |
Storage key | The storage key used to access the directory. This field auto-populates when pasting a full SaaS URL in the Base URL field. |
Share Scope | The file share on the Azure storage to write to. This field auto-populates when pasting a full SaaS URL in the Base URL field. |
Base URL | Copy the base URL from the Azure environment. Refer to Azure Shared Access Signature setup. |
Add To | A SAS key can only add to Query parameters, as per the SAS key standard. |
Note
Make sure the folders exist on the file share. The file share name itself is not part of the folder path.
