Resource task assignments link resources or resource groups to a resource task. You can assign several resources to a resource task: in that way the assignment can work as a sub-task.
The resource task shows the number of assignments. Besides identifying the resource and/or resource group, the assignment holds information on the assigned quantity and the progress:
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Assigned Quantity | As assigned from the source document. |
Time Input Line Qty. | The quantity of time recorded in a time input line with the status Completed. Registered time input lines appear in the time sheet line. |
Time Sheet Line Qty. | The quantity of time recorded in the time sheet line with the status Open. |
Time Line Qty. | The quantity of time recorded in time sheet lines with the status Submitted or Approved while the quantity posted on the time sheet detail line = 0. |
Time Ledger Qty. | The quantity of time recorded in time sheet lines with the status Approved while the quantity posted on the time sheet detail line > 0. |
Subtract the total recorded time from the assigned time to determine the remaining time, unless the assignment has been marked as Completed.
Select assignment
Based on the work type, a resource can have several assignments to a resource task. For example, a service engineer can have an assignment for normal work and an assignment for travel time. Select the correct assignment in the time sheet.
