Split the quantity on a budget line to a new budget line.

Breakdown

Break down a resource group into individual resources. Select resources from the resource group or from all resources. The quantity of the resource group is set to 0.

Copy to Planning

Copy planning lines of the type Budget to planning lines of the type Planning.

Project Assembly BOM

Create ProjectAssembly BOM

Create a project version of an assembly BOM. You can add, modify, or delete components. The ProjectAssembly BOM is used when creating an assembly order. Otherwise, the default assembly BOM is used.

Show ProjectAssembly BOM

Open the project assembly BOM to make modifications.

Delete ProjectAssembly BOM

Delete the project assembly BOM.

Project Production BOM

Create ProjectBOM and Routing version

Create a project version of a production BOM and routing. See also: Create production BOM and routing from project budget line.

Show ProjectBOM and Routing version

Open the project production BOM and routing as selected or created on the ProjectBudget line. See also: Create production BOM and routing from project budget line.

Cost Price per Lot Size

Calculate the optimal lot size for a production item. See also: Create production BOM and routing from project budget line.

Project Components

Expand ProjectComponents BOM

Copy the components of an assembly BOM to new budget lines based on the quantity of the assembly item. The quantity on the parent item is set to 0. You can still use the quantity field on the parent item to update the quantity of the components. Once expanded, you cannot create an assembly order for the parent item.

Collapse ProjectComponents BOM

Collapse an expanded assembly BOM. After collapsing, you can create an assembly order again.

Add ProjectComponents

Add a component to an expanded list. The component is then included in quantity updates of the parent item.

Other

Apply Surcharge Model

Calculate surcharges and add them as separate budget lines of the type surcharge. The calculation is based on the surcharge model set for the project task. See also: Surcharges.

Create Item

Open the Create Item Wizard to create a new item and insert it as a project budget line. You can create the item by copying from another item, selecting an item template, or creating from a non-stock item.

Insert Ext. Texts

Insert extended texts as set for the item, resource, or G/L account when these are not set as automatic extended text. The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central extended texts feature has been extended to include budget lines.
