Project budget lines support the following types:
Type | Description |

Resource | Supports resources of the type Person and type Machine. |
Item | Supports items of the types Inventory, Service, and Non-Inventory. |
G/L Account | The No. field filters on G/L accounts marked as Direct Posting. |
Text | Free text field, or select a Standard Text Codes entry in the No. field. Lines of the type Text are also created when an extended text is defined for a resource, item, or G/L account. Extended texts are inserted automatically or with the Insert Ext. Text action on the ProjectBudget Lines page. |
Surcharge | Select from the Surcharge Components list in the No. field, or insert with the Apply Surcharge Model action on the ProjectBudget Lines page. The surcharge model must be specified on the project task. |
Resource Group | To budget at a higher level than the individual resource, select a resource group in the No. field. The current resource group cost and prices are retrieved. You can further specify cost and price selection with the work type code. Resource groups are also accepted on the ProjectPlanning lines. |
Item Category | To budget at a higher level than the individual item, select an item category in the No. field. Costs and prices must be specified manually. Item categories are not accepted on the ProjectPlanning lines. |
