You can use the Daily Production Planning and Daily Prod. Planning-Equipment pages to modify production orders. These can be either existing production orders or pending production orders that have just been added but need adjustment.
The following steps describe how to modify production orders based on item availability. The same procedure applies for equipment capacity. For simplicity, only item availability is described in detail.
Steps
In the search box, enter Daily Production Planning, and then choose the related link.
Select the line displaying the item with the production order you want to modify.
On the Daily Prod. Planning FastTab, select the line displaying the production order you want to modify and choose Change Order. The Daily Prod. Planning-Order page appears.
Make the necessary changes in the fields.
Choose OK.
The anticipated impact of the pending order changes on scheduled production activities, item availability, and equipment capacity is displayed in red.
