You can use the Daily Production Planning page to add new production orders. Create new production orders to deal with anticipated shortages in manufactured items or to use up an excess quantity of on-hand raw materials.
Steps
In the search box, enter Daily Production Planning, and then choose the related link.
Select the line displaying the item for which you want to create the production order.
On the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Add Order.
On the Daily Prod. Planning-Order page, fill in the fields.
Choose OK.
The production order is added to the Daily Production Planning page as a pending production order. The anticipated impact on scheduled production activities and item availability is displayed in red.
