Production order changes made in the Daily Production Planning and Daily Prod. Planning-Equipment pages are not instantly recorded in the program. The anticipated impact of pending order changes on scheduled production activities, item availability, and equipment capacity is displayed in red. Committing these changes enters them into the program.
The following steps describe how to commit changes from the Daily Production Planning page. The same procedure applies in the Daily Prod. Planning-Equipment page. For simplicity, only the Daily Production Planning page is described in detail.
Steps
In the search box, enter Daily Production Planning, and then choose the related link.
Select the line displaying the item with the production order you want to modify.
Follow the procedure for how to modify production orders.
The anticipated impact of the pending order changes on scheduled production activities, item availability, and equipment capacity is displayed in red.
On the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Commit Changes.
Choose Yes.
The production order changes are entered into the program. The anticipated changes to scheduled production activities, item availability, and equipment capacity that were displayed in red are now shown in black.
