ESHA's Genesis R&D software lets a company set up ingredients and define nutritional information for them. Once ingredients are set up, assign them as components of recipes. The underlying data for a recipe's ingredients determines nutritional information for the recipe itself. You can print this information on Food Manufacturing & Distribution labels and use it for nutritional analysis activities.
Food Manufacturing & Distribution lets you integrate your D365 BC and Genesis R&D databases. Export bills of materials and their assigned components to Genesis as recipes and ingredients, then enter the necessary nutritional information in Genesis. In this way, the corresponding records in the two programs are kept in sync.
The following table describes a sequence of activities, with links to the topics that describe them. These activities are listed in the order in which they are generally performed.
