In Business Integration Solutions, the FILEWRITER endpoint writes files to an external file system.
Usage
Use this endpoint to write documents to an external file system containing exported data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Concept
To write the documents, provide the folder location and appropriate file name. You can use various file naming tokens to create the desired file names. Also provide the correct file extension, as documents can be written in CSV, XML, or text formats. You can also choose to overwrite existing documents.
Note
To view queue documents from different Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central clients or locations, use a network share with the appropriate permissions for the users of that client.
