In Business Integration Solutions, the FTPREADER endpoint reads files from an FTP location.
Usage
Use this endpoint to import documents (XML, CSV, or text) stored in an FTP location into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Concept
When documents are stored in an FTP location, use the FTP Reader endpoint to read the files. The files process through various activities in the pipeline and pass into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. To read the documents, provide the FTP server address and user credentials. You can also process the endpoint as a batch using the job queue, where a job queue entry is created for the reading endpoint.
Once the files are read, Business Integration Solutions deletes them from the FTP location.
Note
To view queue documents from different Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central clients or locations, use an FTP server with the appropriate permissions for the users of that client.
