Create a service object from a project deliverable

Steps

Use the project deliverable in Project Control Suite to create a service object.

1. In the search box, type Projects.

2. Select Projects from the Advanced Project Management department to open the list of available projects.

3. Select the project and click Edit to open the Project card.

4. Select the Navigate tab, locate the Deliverable action, and click to open the Deliverables list.

5. In the Deliverables list, click New to create a new deliverable or Edit to maintain an existing one.

6. Complete the following fields:

   Field	Description
   No.	Identifies the project deliverable. On a new line, tab to the Description field to get the next number from the number series set in Projects Setup.
   Description and Description 2	A short description for the deliverable. Make Description 2 visible through personalization.
   Comments	The field indicates if comments have been added (Yes) or not (No). Click this field to open the Project Comment List where project deliverable-specific comments can be made.
   Unit of Measure	Select the unit of measure for the deliverable.
   Service Item Group	When the deliverable is to be linked to a service object, select a Service Item Group.
