Use the Service Object page to maintain service objects. Create service objects from project deliverables to group service items, for example, all copiers in one building where the building is the service object and the copiers are the individual service items.
When a service object is specified on a project task and items posted for that project task are part of a service item group where Create Service Item is selected, a service item is created and linked to the specified service object.
