Before you can manage commodity processes, configure the rules and values that define the company's commodity policies.
First, set up your items, vendors, and locations to use commodities. Also configure other rules and settings that determine how commodity transactions involving these records are processed.
If the costs of commodity items are based on external cost factors, define the commodity cost components and related commodity classes necessary to perform this type of calculation.
