When a warehouse location is initially configured, certain rules and settings determine the warehouse processes required when handling items at that location. While more warehouse activities bring a greater level of organization, they also require additional effort to maintain. Identify an appropriate balance between control and efficiency that suits your business requirements, then set up locations accordingly.

Beyond the procedures required when configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central standard warehouse processes, additional setup is necessary if you want to use the warehouse management features in Food Manufacturing & Distribution.
